With the senior population increasing, we believe it is important to invest in the education of students that want to pursue careers in healthcare and the first responder fields, so they make help service the increasing senior population.
Over 80 students applied for a scholarship from the Pearl Mae Foundation between January and March 2018. The Scholarship Committee reviewed every application and narrowed it down to 15 winners receiving $1,000.00 each. The students were chosen based on their academic achievements, community involvement, passion for healthcare, and displaying characteristics that bear resemblance to the “Pearl Mae Philosophy”.
